What is lost here in the 21st Century is the fact that back then, Ouija boards were not scary. That is why it is considered so funny in this short to show people afraid of the board. Think about it. If the boards were scary to people, how would is be funny? Only after The Exorcist did the board get a "demonic" reputation. Witchboard didn't help, either. Hell, in 1920 Norman Rockwell painted a Saturday Evening Post cover showing Ouija use. Can't get more MOR than that! Great link! Thanks!
