Spook House Dave!

Here's a belated Valentine's Day gift: Spook House Dave's Bleeding Heart!

Spook House Dave! is the sweet and creepy online puppet series about a vampire, a witch, a werewolf, a mummy, and a rather large Frankenstein monster–all bumbling together to help an 11-year-old make his way in the big scary world.

Beware: it's fearsome fun for the whole family!

The True 'Spirit' of the Care Bears

Written by Dave Nalle
Published April 01, 2005

When you think of the Care Bears, do you think of them as nothing more than annoying characters in an overly preachy children's cartoon? Or do you find them vaguely unsettling, perhaps because your inner eye can sense some of the truth behind these chubby brightly colored 'friends' - the truth of Voodoo masquerading as children's entertainment... And now for the too late news:

Yesterday, July 28th, was Jim Davis' 62nd birthday. And I forgot! It's terrible! He's genius behind my favorite comic strip, lifter of my spirits, soda-out-my-nose blower! I can't count how many times I've nearly passed out laughing at Garfield. I grew up on Garfield. I've loved him all my life. I always will. I wish I could put into words, Jim, how much joy I get out of the strip. Happy birthday, my friend! Lots of love and laughs to you!

You'll die laughing!

...Or you may just get hiccups. These are SO funny... But I like these even better! Update: This is cute too.

Happy birthday, Garfield!

I guess this falls under the "Anything else I like" category. 29 years ago today Garfield was born!

The power of Garfield compels you!
